12: Rogue

Like the Hulk, Rogue represents what happens when one's powers are more of a curse than they are a blessing. Her mutant powers first manifested when she kissed her boyfriend Cody, causing his memories to be absorbed into his concioussness, and putting him in a permanent comma. Since then, Rogue has always been careful to never expose her skin to others, as accidental contact could result in them being knocked unconcious or killed. Despite the fear she possesses towards her powers, and at times feeling inscure about herself, Rogue is still one of the toughest babes in comicdom! Flying (when she possessed Ms. Marvel's powers for a time) in high and strong with her upbeat pesonality and southern accent, Rogue one of the characters that many people instantly think of when asked about the X-Men (largely due to her popularity from the 90's animated series). She may fear her own power, but that doesn't mean that she won't do what she can to help her fellow mutants!
